Event Provided Rockland Attractions Opportunity To Showcase Offerings To Travel Trade Professionals
Pomona, NY – Rockland County’s Economic Development & Tourism Department, in collaboration with Alon Tourism Solutions, is excited to announce it held its first-ever Familiarization Tour and Marketplace (FAM) event June 3 –June 4, 2024. The FAM Tour featured an extensive itinerary, taking travel trade professionals to numerous tourism destinations including Roundtable Brewery, the Garner Historic District & GARNER Arts Center, the Haverstraw Brick Museum, Holocaust Museum, Palisades Center, and many more.
Rockland County Executive Ed Day said, “It is always a pleasure to highlight Rockland County’s tourism assets, which will continue to generate a positive economic impact for the County.”
“We are happy to welcome these tourism professionals to our FAM Tour and Marketplace,” said Lucy Redzeposki, Director of Economic Development & Tourism for Rockland County. “This provided them with a first-hand experience of our county that they can then add to their tour itineraries, opening the door for new business.”
This exclusive event provided an unparalleled opportunity for Rockland County’s attractions and tourism stakeholders to showcase their offerings to travel trade professionals, who have expressed interest in bringing their visitors to Rockland County.

The tour also included a Marketplace networking reception where Rockland County tourism stakeholders shared their products and services, laying the foundation for long-term partnerships.
